RITUALS OF POWER is a photographic series in which Goldyn explores the symbolic language of authority, ideology and belief. Through performative self-staging and carefully constructed scenes, the artist combines political symbols, religious references and elements of absurdity.
Flags, ritual gestures and theatrical props appear alongside everyday objects, creating images that oscillate between satire and contemporary iconography. By exaggerating these visual codes, the works reveal how power is staged, performed and maintained through collective rituals.
The series reflects on the mechanisms through which political and cultural identities are constructed, exposing the fragile boundaries between devotion, propaganda and spectacle.
